AFL clubs will have the opportunity to draft an Indigenous player under a new Category B rookie list rule from the 2027 season.

On 3AW Football, Cal Twomey unpacked the big news from the AFL, saying this is a move to boost the number of Indigenous players on the lists of AFL and AFLW clubs.
