The search for Essendon’s next coach continues, with James Hird still in the box seat to land the job.

On 3AW Football, Leigh Matthews has slammed Essendon’s coaching search, saying any coach with “choices” wouldn’t put their hand up for the job.

“I’d have no confidence to coach under that regime,” Matthews said on 3AW Football.
