Matthew Lloyd believes prospective coaches of Essendon should not be disparaged by the turmoil at Tullamarine.

The Bombers legend believes that whilst the club is not going well, as Leigh Matthews pointed out, there have been numerous clubs in the same position.

“Yes, they’re not going well as a football club, but look at Brisbane, when Chris Fagan came in they were on their knees,” Lloyd said on 3AW Football.

“The Bombers are very easy targets now.”
