The Essendon coaching search continues, with a group of candidates eyeing the top job.

There is a candidate who is gaining serious momentum, and Shane McInnes says he could “bring the club together”.

“The Hird steam train just doesn’t seem to have as much puff as it did,” McInnes said on 3AW Football.
