The final four candidates for the Essendon coaching job have undertaken their interviews, with Dean Solomon ruling himself out.

On 3AW Football, Cal Twomey says there is “uncertainty” around whether Solomon will stay at the club next year, despite being contracted as assistant coach.

“It’s been a little strange how this has played out,” Twomey said.
