Essendon great Matthew Lloyd has been questioned on whether he’d return to help out his former club in some capacity.
The big decision looms for the club, with James Hird and Mark McVeigh reported as the front runners for the role.

“You would have to blow it all up,” Lloyd said on 3AW Football.
Essendon coaching candidate and Adelaide Coaching Director, Murray Davis, was also questioned about the involvement in the ongoing process, and whether he’s still in the mix.

“Through the process, Essendon have been outstanding in communicating all of the timelines,” Davis said.
