Police recently seized a tape connected with the Sydney Swans investigation.

Veteran crime reporter Sly of the Underworld told 3AW Breakfast hosts Ross Stevenson and Russel Howcroft that a man had reportedly contacted the Swans to alert them to the tape.

“It is speculation, but you wonder why the guy contacted the Swans, if he thought it would be of benefit to the Swans,” he said.

3AW acknowledges no one has been charged in relation to the allegations, which are still under investigation.
