One Nation leader Pauline Hanson was criticised for comments about Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s mother spending her entire life living in social housing.

The prime minister defended his mother, labelling Hanson’s comments “nasty” and “spiteful”.

3AW Mornings host Tom Elliott said that Hanson had a fair point regarding how the public housing system should be used.
