Former Melbourne captain Jack Trengove has been snapped up by the Power.

Trengove, 26, was delisted by Melbourne at the end of 2017 after 86 games.

He played two games in 2017, and just seven since 2013, due to persistent injuries.

Trengove was named as Melbourne’s captain in 2012, becoming the youngest club captain in VFL/AFL history at 20 years and 181 days old.

Trengove joins Tom Rockliff, Steven Motlop, Jack Watts, and Trent McKenzie as the Power’s recruits this off-season.
