Port Adelaide have set their sights on one of Gold Coast’s top draft picks.

Highly-rated draftees Jack Lukosius and Izak Rankine both reside in South Australia and Mitch Cleary told Trade Wrap the Power are quietly working on a deal that would land the club a high draft pick to secure one of the gun pair.

“Jack Lukosius is a Jack Gunston equivalent and Izak Rankine is a small forward who is probably the most talented player in the draft,” he said.

“Port Adelaide could move down to pick two or three and maybe part with picks 10 and 11 to do while Jack Hombsch could be going to the Gold Coast after being told to explore his options.

“It could all form part of a deal to land the Power one of these gun young kids.”
