AAMI Park apologies to soccer fans after incorrectly applying rule at recent games

Word on the street update

Caller Peter told Tom Elliott on Monday that his son was forced to cloak a ball he bought to a recent Melbourne City game at the venue.

On Tuesday, Melbourne & Olympic Parks – which run AAMI Park and other major venues in Melbourne – admitted balls should’ve been allowed into the venue under the conditions of entry for A-League matches.
