‘Absolute demolition’: Matthew Lloyd’s frank Geelong Grand Final analysis

Matthew Lloyd has delivered a frank assessment of Geelong’s performance in the Grand Final.

The Cats were soundly beaten by 47 points after Brisbane broke the game open just before three-quarter time.

Lloydy told 3AW Football were demolished, saying the margin could and should have been a lot greater.

“The scoreboard flattered Geelong,” he said.

“It was just an absolute demolition. When it comes to finals time, (Brisbane) stands up.”
