‘Absolutely ludicrous’: Jon Anderson criticises Carlton’s Sam Docherty function snub

3AW Breakfast sports reporter Jon Anderson has criticised Carlton’s decision to snub Sam Docherty from a pre-match function on Thursday.

The ex-Blues skipper was supposed to be speaking at the function before the match against Richmond, but after comments broadcast on a podcast without his permission were aired, he was withdrawn.

“Absolutely ludicrous,” Anderson said.

Docherty spoke on Wide World of Sports on Monday night about the big weekend he ended up having, and the message he had for Carlton fans.
