Adelaide drops controversial high-performance group
Adelaide has cut ties with Collective Mind.
The Crows today announced they had parted ways with the group responsible for their now infamous pre-season camp.
Coach Don Pyke and Head of Football Brett Burton made the announcement on Saturday.
Burton said the Collective Mind program “hasn’t gone the way they wanted” this year, but he denied there were lingering effects of the camp.
“We’re not comfortable where that program is at. We’re going to go on a different path,” he said.
Pyke conceded the camp had been a “fail”.
He also said the club has “resolved” its hamstring issues.
Mick Warner: “Why is Adelaide holding a press conference at 3pm today? Match day. That is bizarre.”
