AFL great calls out Daisy Pearce clubroom ban

Matthew Richardson says he can’t understand why Daisy Pearce has been “singled out” and banned from the changerooms of at least two AFL clubs due to a conflict of interest.

Richmond and Brisbane have both barred the AFLW great from entering their rooms while she’s working for Channel 7, claiming it is because of her new role as an assistant coach at Geelong.

“There have always been people with dual roles in this business, whether you think it is right, or not,” Richardson said on 3AW’s Wide World Of Sports.
