AFLX will officially arrive in February 2018

AFLX is officially here.

The modified version of Aussie Rules will be played in three round robins across three nights in February 2018.

Adelaide, Port Adelaide, Collingwood, West Coast, Fremantle and Geelong will play in the inaugural series in Adelaide on February 15.

The second series will be held between Melbourne, North Melbourne, St Kilda, Carlton, Hawthorn, and Essendon at Etihad Stadium the following night.

Sydney, GWS, Brisbane, Western Bulldogs, Richmond, and Gold Coast will play at Allianz Stadium (Sydney Football Stadium) on February 17.

Games will consist of two 10-minute halves with a two-minute break at half-time.

Clubs are yet to be shown a detailed brief of all the rules.
