Ambulance union worried about growing ramping issues across Victoria
The Victorian Ambulance Union says it’s worried about reports suggesting regional hospitals may have to shut as a result of budget issues.
Metro hospitals are also dealing with ambulance ramping issues, with union secretary Danny Hill says the lack of funding is a widespread issue which has to be solved.
Mr Hill says he’s seen evidence ramping is occurring in regional areas such as Geelong and Swan Hill.

“Everywhere suffers from this problem,” he told 3AW Mornings.
“Nowhere is immune from it.”
