An update on ‘RUN4KB’: The police officer running 441 kilometres to raise money for a rare cancer!

Tom Elliott

Victoria Police member Kyle has kicked off his 441km run in just seven days to raise awareness and crucial funds for Ewing Sarcoma research, a rare cancer that affects approximately 200 Australians a year.

Kyle is doing the run in honour of his late friend Brendan Warburton, known as KB, who lost his battle to the rare disease in November of last year.

Emergency and Trauma Physician at the Alfred Hospital, Helen Stergiou, is with Kyle and said “it’s just a really good feeling” as the first day of the run gets underway.

Press PLAY to hear an update on the run for a great cause!
