Andrew McGrath lifts lid on Brad Scott’s three-quarter-time message to the playing group

Essendon midfielder Andrew McGrath has lifted the lid on what head coach Brad Scott told the playing group at three-quarter-time during Friday night’s match against Collingwood.

The Bombers won by 12 points, with McGrath telling 3AW it was a “rollercoaster of emotions” throughout the game, and also commented on the media and general public’s criticism of the side’s form against top eight sides.

“We hear the noise, I think you’d be ignorant to not understand what people are talking about outside of the footy club,” he said.
