Another Hawthorn veteran is off to the Brisbane Lions!

Grant Birchall is off to Brisbane.

The Hawthorn veteran, who’s played in four premierships, is heading north to join the Lions.

He’s signed a one-year deal as a free agent.

It comes following the retirement of Luke Hodge, who also moved to the Lions in his latter years after four flags with the Hawks.

The Hawks will receive no compensation for Birchall.
