‘At this stage, he is playing’: Injury-plagued young gun set to finally make debut

Nathan Freeman is set to make his long-awaited AFL debut on Friday night, says Tom Morris.

The Sportsday newsbreaker said he’d play for St Kilda this week, barring anything going wrong between now and then.

“At this stage, he is playing,” Morris said on 3AW.

Freeman was taken by Collingwood with pick 10 in the 2013 National Draft before requesting a trade to St Kilda at the end of 2015.

He is still yet to play a game at the highest level.
