Aviation expert defends outgoing Qantas CEO Alan Joyce amid mass scrutiny

Qantas boss Alan Joyce is departing Qantas today, departing the airline two months sooner than expected.

Aviation expert and Editor in Chief of AirlineRatings.com, Geoff Thomas, says Mr Joyce has become the fall guy for a lot of the airline’s problems but he has also delivered in his role.

“When history looks at him in a few years time, they’ll actually look far more kindly on him than at the moment,” Mr Thomas told Neil Mitchell.
