Brisbane CEO responds to Judd’s assessment of the young Lions
Brisbane CEO Greg Swann is more than happy with his club’s young players.
Swann was responding to an assessment from Channel 9’s Footy Classified on Monday.
Caroline Wilson had said Brisbane’s young players were better than Carlton’s, to which former Blue star Chris Judd disagreed.
Caro: What would you say to that?
Swann: Did he really (disagree)?
“But we’re happy with our kids, put it that way,” Swann told 3AW before the Lions’ clash with Hawthorn.
“We think our kids are playing well. We’re getting good game time into them.
“Kids do take time. You probably need to have the conversation in four of five years’ time.”
Matthew Lloyd said Eric Hipwood and Cam Rayner are a good match for Patrick Cripps and Charlie Curnow.
