Brisbane GM talks Oscar Allen, Sam Draper moves and dismisses Joe Daniher comeback talks

Brisbane Lions GM Danny Daly spoke to 3AW Football before their Round 21 clash with Collingwood and provided clarity on Chris Fagan’s approach to potential new recruits Oscar Allen and Sam Draper.

“Fagan hasn’t spoken to those guys at all (Allen and Draper). If they are in a position where they potentially want to come to our club, that conversation will happen at some point,” Daly said on 3AW Football.

Daly spoke about potential rumours of Victorian clubs trying to recruit former Lion Joe Daniher but put that to bed very quickly, suggesting Daniher is enjoying retirement and plans to stay away from football.

“He hasn’t run since the Grand Final and just came back from Europe.

“There is no hope.”
