Bryce Gibbs gives an update on his future

Bryce Gibbs has given the strongest indication yet he’ll be at Carlton next year.

The Blues midfielder requested a trade to Adelaide last off-season, with many expecting him to do the same this trade period.

But speaking on Sportsday, Gibbs said he expected to remain with the Blues.

“I’ve got two years to go on a contract, so I can’t see anything changing, at this stage,” Gibbs told 3AW.

He said things were looking up at the Blues.

“I think Carlton fans should be really excited,” Gibbs said.
