Bulldog skipper’s season in doubt with hamstring injury
Easton Wood’s season may be over.
The Bulldog skipper suffered a high-grade hamstring injury on Thursday night, with the club confirming he will miss 10-12 weeks.
The club will manage Wood conservatively, and with only 10 matches left, it leaves the captain’s return this year in doubt.
The Bulldogs also confirmed both Jack Macrae (hamstring) and Lukas Webb (thumb) will miss 3-4 weeks.
Three other Bulldogs suffered injuries but remain in the mix for the clash with the Kangaroos on Saturday.
Tom Boyd dislocated a finger, Marcus Bontempelli hyperextended a knee, and Toby McLean suffered a minor shoulder injury.
All three will be monitored during the week.
