Cal Twomey outlines why Essendon are seeking an assistance package

Shortly after sacking their coach Brad Scott and only winning one game out of their last 25, the Bombers are in discussions with the AFL over an assistance package.

On Sports Today, Cal Twomey has taken a deep dive into why Essendon are asking for an assistance package.

“I don’t begrudge them at all for asking…. they’ve probably been too proud in the past to ask,” Twomey said on Sports Today.
