Carlton coach should treat performance against Richmond ‘like a loss’
Matthew Lloyd says Carlton should treat their performance over Richmond “like a loss”, despite sneaking over the line on Thursday night.
The Blues were wasteful up forward, but weren’t made to pay for their inaccuracy by a injury-hit Tigers outfit.
Lloyd said if he was coach Michael Voss, he wouldn’t have left the MCG happy despite continuing their undefeated start to the 2024 season.

“I’d consider treating it like a loss if I was the coach,” he said on 3AW Football.
“Their lack of composure and the way they put the ball inside 50, that’s not going to cut it with the best sides.”
