Carlton has ‘always admired’ Geelong goal-sneak as Curnow negotiations continue
Matthew Lloyd has pinpointed Geelong small forward Gryan Miers as the perfect player the Blues should be targeting as part of the Charlie Curnow deal.
Reports on Friday afternoon suggested the Blues were admirers of the Cats goal-sneak, as the minutes tick down to Wednesday night’s trade deadline.
And Lloyd said he would be the perfect fit following confirmation that Geelong’s offer of three first-round picks for Curnow was knocked back.

“It’s been reported that Carlton loves Gryan Miers,” he said on 3AW Drive.
“Even though they secured Ben Ainsworth from the Gold Coast Suns, they’ve always admired Gryan Miers.”
