Carlton recruit Zac Williams suspended

Carlton recruit Zac Williams is likely to have to wait until Round 2 to make his debut for the Blues.

He’s been handed a one-game ban for a high hit during last Thursday’s pre-season loss to St Kilda.

The incident was graded as careless, medium impact and high contact.

Carlton has until 11am on Tuesday to respond to the charge.
