Carlton spearhead unlikely to face Richmond according to teammate

Charlie Curnow isn’t expected to take the field in Carlton’s season-opening clash against Richmond, according to one of his teammates.

Despite growing optimism the spearhead would be able to overcome a knee injury, Ollie Hollands told Wide World of Sports Curnow was unlikely to be fit for Thursday week’s clash.

“Charlie (Curnow) is still a week or two away unfortunately,” he said on 3AW.

“Hopefully we can get him back out there as soon as possible.”
