3AW Breakfast sports reporter Jon Anderson is wondering whether it’s time for Carlton to change up Charlie Curnow’s role in the side amid a form slump.

The star forward has only kicked three goals in the last three weeks, struggling to make an impact as Carlton’s finals chances slide away.

Considering his side’s current fortunes, Anderson says playing the 28-year-old in the midfield could be worth having a look at.

“(Charlie Curnow) has speed and endurance,” he told Ross and Russ.

“Why hasn’t he been played on the ball? He’s a beautiful field kick.”
