Carlton ‘will be hoping’ new ruckman following in footsteps of Richmond rival
Carlton has secured ruckman Liam Reidy in one of the first deals done of this year’s trade period.
And Matthew Lloyd says the now former Fremantle big man will be hoping that his career follows a similar path to Toby Nankervis – who moved to the Tigers with great success after failing to break into Sydney’s team.

“He’s been a guy who’s been behind Sean Darcy and Luke Jackson,” Lloyd said on 3AW Afternoons.
“Most of the rucks find their way to another club for opportunities … Carlton will be hoping he’s another Toby Nankervis.”
