Caroline Wilson says Carlton has ‘behaved appallingly’

Caroline Wilson has ripped into Carlton after it blindsided Steven Trigg into his resignation.

She says the Blues have also misled former AFL executive Simon Lethlean – who’s been linked with the position.

Carlton has since distanced itself from that speculation.

Trigg stood down on Thursday, but Wilson said he had no idea he wasn’t wanted 24 hours earlier.

“I think they’ve behaved appallingly,” she said on Sportsday.
