Caroline Wilson’s take on ‘lenient’ handling of the Geelong concussion saga

Caroline Wilson believes the AFL felt it had to fine Geelong but fell short of implicating those involved.

Wilson believes the optics of the situation led to the penalty, but it fell short of meaningful change to the AFL’s concussion rules.

“I think it was lenient,” Wilson said on 3AW Football.

“It was a compromise and has left a bad taste in my mouth.

“To say this is a nothing story is wrong.”
