Christian Petracca’s finger injury no laughing matter

It was the source of a few laughs at the weekend, however, Christian Petracca has revealed his finger injury was no joking matter.

The Melbourne youngster was at risk of having his finger amputated if he played in Melbourne’s win over Essendon on Sunday.

Petracca underwent surgery twice after his finger became infected from a dog bite.

He’s considered a 50-50 chance of playing against St Kilda on Sunday.
