Collingwood defender Nathan Murphy is set to retire due to repeated issues with concussion.

A meeting with a panel of experts on Saturday determined he be medically retired after concussion, with the last game he played being in the 2023 AFL Grand Final.

Tom Elliott announced the news live on-air and said “this is something that’s not going to go away in footy”.
