Collingwood star could be in trouble for a sling tackle
Collingwood star Steele Sidebottom could be in trouble for a sling tackle.
The Magpie midfielder slung Zac Fisher to the ground in the final quarter of the Carlton-Collingwood game at the MCG, with the young Blue coming off groggy.
Magpie legend Tony Shaw said there was no malice in the incident, but the tackling technique wasn’t right.
Matthew Lloyd said he thinks Sidebottom will fall foul of the MRP.
“I think he doesn’t play next week,” he said.
Fisher returned to the field shortly after and played out the game.
