Craig Foster: Sports have become ‘casinos’ amid alleged A-League betting scandal
Former Socceroo Craig Foster has weighed in on the alleged A-League betting scandal, which has seen three players including Macarthur FC Captain Ulises Davila charged by police.
Foster told Jacqui Felgate on 3AW Drive it’s a “horrible story” and claimed “sports have become casinos”.
“I just think it opens up a can of worms, a conversation that the whole country needs to have about this relationship between sport and gambling,” he said.
