Daniel Menzel delisted by Geelong

Daniel Menzel has been delisted by Geelong

The injury-ravaged 27-year old played 73 games for the Cats but was told he won’t be offered a new contract for the 2019 season.

Menzel ruptured his ACL in the 2011 qualifying final but only returned to senior action in late 2015 after succumbing to three successive ACL injuries following the original tear.

He played 13 games in 2018, booting 27 goals.

Jordan Murdoch was also informed he won’t be offered a contract by the club after playing 108 for Geelong.
