Collingwood captain Darcy Moore has questioned why the umpires didn’t stop play after Lachie Schultz was concussed on Thursday night.

Schultz came off second best in a collision in the final term of the Pies’ win over Fremantle, with play continuing in the immediate aftermath of the incident.

Moore told 3AW Football he and his teammates were clearly rattled by what happened.

“There was a few of us out there on both teams that felt the game should’ve stopped,” he said on 3AW after the match.

“Clearly the ground was an unsafe place for him to be, and then you’ve got other guys chasing a footy.”
