Darcy Parish provides update on comeback after ‘horrific’ calf setbacks

Darcy Parish says he’s only days away from making a long-awaited return to competitive action.

Parish hasn’t played for the Bombers all year, after dealing with a pre-season back injury and then a calf setback sustained in April.

Speaking on Wide World of Sports, the gun midfielder admitted he’s had a “horrific” recent run with calf injuries.

“I’m taking each day as it comes and ticking all the boxes,” he said on 3AW.

“Looking to be finally ticked off by next weekend and we’ll just see which game (I’ll play in).”
