Darcy Parish ‘sick’ of recent mediocre Essendon form
Star Essendon midfielder Darcy Parish says he’s ‘sick’ of the club producing mediocre results, urging fans to continue to trust the process under coach Brad Scott.
The Bombers showed plenty of promise in Scott’s first year as coach in 2023, but faded and missed the finals.
Parish urged Essendon’s loyal fan base to stick with the stick with the club as they look to win their first final since 2004.

“I think there’s a lot of us now who are sick of being a mediocre team,” he told 3AW Football’s Saturday Sit Down with Shane McInnes.
“The fans are so passionate and so are we – we’re doing our best to get us back to where we want to be and deserve to be at a footy club.”
In a wide-ranging chat, Parish also spoke about his unique start to life as an AFL footballer, plus his excitement as he and wife Grace prepares to welcome their first child later this year.
