Dayne Zorko’s strong words on his future, responds to THOSE Joe Daniher rumours

Brisbane veteran Dayne Zorko has confirmed his intention to resist retirement and play on into a 15th season next year.

The 36-year-old has played every game for the Lions in 2025, showing no sign of slowing down despite his age.

Speaking to Wide World of Sports before his side’s clash against Carlton, he said the club remains fully aware of his interest in seeking another contract.

“I’d like to play on,” he said on 3AW.

“Given the position the team is in at the moment, I absolutely love it.”

Zorko also responded to rumours that Joe Daniher could perform a sensational backflip and come out of retirement next season.
