The AFL’s trade period has closed!

As usual, there was a flurry of activity as the deadline loomed.

Gary Ablett, Luke Hodge, and Jake Stringer were just some of the big names who changed clubs today.

Here are all the trades from the final day:

 

TRADE: North Melbourne and Port Adelaide have exchanged picks.

North receives two 2018 third-round picks.

The Power get pick 46 and a 2018 third-rounder.

TRADE: Brisbane and Richmond have traded picks.

The Lions have received picks 15 and 52.

Richmond gets picks 20 and 25.

TRADE: Josh Schache has become a Bulldog.

The Lions have received picks 25 and 40 in exchange for the former No.2 pick.

TRADE: Lachie Weller is off to the Gold Coast.

Freo has traded their young gun and pick 41 in exchange for the Suns’ prized pick 2.

The Suns also sent forward Brandon Matera to Freo for a 2018 third-round pick.

TRADE: Port Adelaide and St Kilda have exchange picks.

The Saints receive pick 34 and a 2018 fourth-rounder.

The Power get picks 59, 63, and a 2018 second-rounder.

TRADE: Adelaide has traded Charlie Cameron to Brisbane.

The Crows had played hardball over the speedy forward, and eventually accepted pick 12.

TRADE: Gary Ablett is back at Geelong.

Gold Coast has traded Ablett, pick 24, and a 2018 fourth-rounder to the Cats in exchange for pick 19 and a 2018 second-rounder.

TRADE: Darcy Lang has swapped one blue-and-white jumper for another.

Geelong has traded Lang to Carlton for pick 58.

The two clubs have also traded 2018 fourth-round picks.

TRADE: Hawthorn legend Luke Hodge is now a Lion.

Hawthorn has effectively traded their four-time premiership star for pick 75.

The clubs also exchanged picks 43 and 44.

TRADE: Carlton has recruited young Giant Matthew Kennedy.

GWS receives pick 28.

Kennedy, 20, was drafted with pick 13 in 2015 and has played 19 games.

TRADE: Richmond and Geelong have traded third-round picks.

The Tigers receive pick 53, sending their 2018 third-rounder to the Cats.

TRADE: The Dogs and Blues have exchanged picks.

The Blues have received picks 28, 30, and a 2018 second-rounder.

The Bulldogs receive picks 16 and 40.

TRADE: Jake Stringer is officially a Bomber.

The Bulldogs have accepted Essendon’s offer of picks 25 and 30.

TRADE: Port ruckman Matthew Lobbe is off to the Blues.

Carlton sent pick 95 to the Power.

***

TRADE: GWS backman Nathan Wilson has moved to Fremantle.

Wilson had requested a trade back to his home state.

GWS sent Wilson and pick 71 to Fremantle in exchange for pick 57 and a 2018 second-round pick.

TRADE: North has sent Sam Gibson to Adelaide.

North had already confirmed it would not be offering Gibson, 31, a new contract.

North receives pick 91 from the Crows.

TRADE: Sydney has traded Sam Murray to Collingwood.

A versatile utility, Murray was taken with pick 66 in the 2015 Rookie Draft but was unable to break into the Swans’ line-up.

Sydney has sent Murray, pick 70, and next year’s third-round pick to the Pies.

Collingwood has given up a 2018 second-rounder.

TRADE: St Kilda has picked up key defender Logan Austin from Port.

The Power sent Austin and a 2018 fourth-round pick to the Saints in exchange for a 2018 third-rounder.

Austin, 22, was drafted with pick 69 in the 2014 draft.

TRADE: Gold Coast have landed Aaron Young from the Power.

The Suns gave up a 2018 fourth-round pick.

Young booted 37 goals in 2016, his breakout season, but played just 13 games in 2017.

TRADE: The Eagles and Suns have exchanged picks.

Gold Coast has picked up a 2018 1st-rounder and pick 50.

They’ve given West Coast picks 21, 26, 37 and a 2018 2nd-rounder.

TRADE: Bryce Gibbs is a Crow.
