RUMOUR CONFIRMED

A Melbourne dentist is under fire over claims he asks his female employees to wear their name tags upside down to indicate when they were menstruating.

3AW Breakfast’s Rumour File was alerted to the issue on Thursday morning.

Neil Mitchell spoke with one of the clinic’s former dental nurses shortly after.

She said she found the dentist’s request highly offensive.

‘I was shocked, more than anything,’ Laura explained on 3AW Mornings.

‘I really didn’t think it was true. I thought it was a joke (when he asked).’
