‘Disappointed’: Sam McClure defends himself amid criticism over Clayton Oliver reporting

Sam McClure has spoken out on Wide World of Sports amid recent criticism over his reporting on Melbourne midfielder Clayton Oliver.

McClure said he’s “disappointed” he’s become a big part of the story, and stands by everything he has reported on Oliver for the best part of two years.

“It’s not about me, this is about Clayton and the Melbourne footy club,” McClure said.
