Neil Mitchell has called out the “obscene” anti-Semitism in the country as the Israel-Hamas war rages on in the Middle East.

The 3AW Mornings host has implored the public not to “bring the hate” occurring in the Middle East into Australia, listing some examples of the “surging” acts of anti-Semitism in the country and abroad.

“I doubt there’s a more important issue in this country at the moment,” he said.

The former Prime Ministers of Australia have penned a joint statement condemning the racial and religious hatred occurring in the Middle East and back here in Australia, throwing their support behind Jewish Australians and the Australian Palestinian community.

“I really recommend you have a look at it, it makes these points and makes them strongly,” the 3AW Mornings host said.
