Dwayne Russell has called on St Kilda to scrap a Gary Glitter song from its pre-game playlist.

The song Rock N Roll has become a contentious tune in the sporting world.

It’s been widely used as a pump-up song for crowds over the years.

However, Dwayne thinks it’s in poor taste.

“St Kilda, don’t play Gary Glitter,” the Sportsday host said on Monday.

“It’s been banned by the NFL, I think.

“I think he still gets a royalty when it gets played.

“I’d be wiping that from your playlist.”

Glitter is a convicted sex offender and has been imprisoned for possession of child pornography and sexual abuse.
