Eagles would be ‘crazy’ to play returning star in Round 1

Matthew Lloyd says West Coast would be “crazy” to play Nic Naitanui in Round 1.

The star ruckman played his first game in more than a year at the weekend after a knee reconstruction.

Speaking on Sportsday, Lloyd said the Eagles should resist rushing him into the season.

“They’d be crazy to play him,” Lloyd said.
